Mukesh Rishi, the Indian actor working for both Hindi and the regional films was born on 19 th April, 1956 in J&K. He studied from Government College Chandigarh and enrolled for Roshan Taneja Acting School. He is married to Keshni Rishi and has a child. He also acted in other regional language films but his performance in the film Sarfarosh as Inspector Salim is still remembered and apprecoated for which he had been nominated for supporting actor. He debuted in television with The Sword of Tipu Sultan and debuted in the film Gandharvam (Telugu and Malayalam) and Ghyal (Hindi) both in 1992.
